COVID-19 Update

To our valued guests,
On behalf of The Hermitage, Mt Cook Lodge, Motels and all activities, we would like to express our thoughts and wishes to everyone effected by the impact of COVID-19. It is extremely vulnerable times for all and we are sure we are not alone in expressing to you all our desire to do all we can to support each other.
We have been closely monitoring all COVID-19 updates and travel restrictions in a bid to provide a safe environment for our valued guests and many team members of whom reside in the Mt Cook Village. It is for this reason we would like to share our action plan to ensure the continued safety of our guests and team through safe travel practices.
Our commitment to your travel safety
The health and safety of our guests and staff is of our upmost priority. In addition to our current high-standards of cleanliness and hygiene practices, within all departments we are now deploying the below measures in-line with advice from public health authorities such as WHO and local governments;
Our teams are receiving ongoing training and briefs regarding the importance of operating protocols and their role in helping us to provide a safe environment
All guests will be asked to provide arrival documentation in advance of check in to confirm their arrival date into New Zealand was pre-midnight, the 15th March.
The hotel and all associated departments have set up sanitize stations in all public areas with signs instructing all people to use. The sanitizes are all antibacterial
Cleaning schedules of public and high-traffic areas have been increased to ensure the regular disinfecting with hospital grade disinfectant
