The Panorama Room, our signature à
la carte restaurant, opened in 1969. A simple philosophy of using
just the freshest, local ingredients, in particular from New
Zealand's South Island, is still the secret to our success today.
With views throughout of Aoraki Mount Cook and available for small
group dinners or an impressive banquet, this will be a highlight
for every delegate. Diners will be mesmerised and inspired by the
changing colours of the southern alps as the sun sets behind these
spectacular mountain peaks.
Offering sumptuous breakfast, lunch
and dinner buffets accompanied with spectacular views of Aoraki
Mount Cook from every seat. The breakfast buffet offers the choice
of either a full cooked or continental breakfast with a selection
of pastries, breads, cereals, fresh fruit juices, tea & coffee.
The dinner and lunch buffets offer a wide range of New Zealand and
international cuisine, using only the freshest ingredients
including soups, salads, seafood, hot and cold meats and desserts
with tea and coffee to follow.

atmosphere in which to refresh, refuel and relax. Specialising in
classic Kiwi fare, the cafe & bar offers floor to ceiling views
of Aoraki Mount Cook, from indoor or outdoor balcony seating. The
cafe can be setup for an exclusive dinner function or the bar for
an evening cocktail party. This spacious cafe and bar overlooking
the Sir Edmund Hillary Museum is a great dining or entertaining
option.
The perfect location for pre or post
dinner drinks, the Snowline Lounge offers spectacular views of
Aoraki Mount Cook. Take the opportunity to relax and unwind, curl
up by the open log-fire and take in the majestic view of the
Southern Alps. The Snowline Lounge has all your favourite cocktails
and an extensive selection of spirits, wines and beers, perfect for
that evening cocktail party or networking evenings.
The Chamois Bar & Grill is located in Mt Cook Lodge &
Motels, it's a favourite in Mount Cook for pub style meals served
within the large spacious dining area surrounded by large panoramic
windows overlooking Aoraki Mount Cook and the southern alps. The
ideal late evening venue featuring a Pool Table, Dart Board, Big
Screen TV with Sports Channels, & Juke Box. The Chamois Car
& Grill also has an outdoor BBQ area and bar, the perfect
informal casual function and dining location.
