by Aoraki Mount Cook Alpine Village Limited, trading as 'The
Hermitage Hotel' in the position concerned. This information will

Your application forms part of the conditions of
employment with Aoraki Mount Cook Alpine Village Limited trading as
'The Hermitage Hotel'. It is to be personally completed by the

Your covering letter should tell us why you are suitable for the
position that you are applying for - remember, we get 100's of
applications so this is your chance to shine!
Your resume should back up and expand on information provided in
your application form including details of any relevant
qualifications gained and details of your previous employment.

each one.

Information for International Applicants:
In general, you are only entitled to work in New Zealand if you
are a New Zealand or Australian citizen, or if you hold a valid
work permit. We are happy to accept applications from people who
hold Working Holiday Visas as long as they are entitled to work for
us for a minimum of three months and who intend to work for the
hotel for as long as their Work Perm it allows. We do not offer any
work experience placements.
Each year, the hotel sponsors a small number of applications who
require work permits. these positions include Japanese speaking and
Senior Chef positions. Relevant experience and qualifications are
essential to any application that requires the sponsorship of Work
Permits.
Length of Contract:
Our summer season starts in October and usually runs until the
following March. Some positions become available in January or
February and run until mid to late May. Some contracts may also be
extended through our winter period.

Our online system shows the current vacancies. Not all positions
are advertised at the same time so check back for updates.
